JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title: Playmakers Lacrosse Coach
Location: Vadnais Heights, MN
Job Type: Part-Time
As a Playmakers Lacrosse Coach, you're not just a coach; you're a mentor, motivator, and a driver for young athletes' growth.
Key Responsibilities:

Fundamental mastery: Your mission is to help our players hone their muscle-memory, LAX IQ and conditioning. Design and lead training sessions that empower them to excel in every aspect.

Skill elevation: Provide personalized coaching and hands-on instruction to enhance players' abilities, from beginners to seasoned athletes.

Motivation extraordinaire: Create a motivating and exciting training environment where players are not just learning but having a blast while doing it.

Strategic minds: Teach players the strategic side of lacrosse, from offensive and defensive tactics, perspective and field awareness.

Individualized approach: Recognize and embrace the unique potential and needs of each player, tailoring your coaching to maximize their development and success.

Safety guardian: Ensure the safety of our players by adhering to safety protocols and injury prevention measures.

Community builder: Play a key role in building a sense of community and sportsmanship among players. Encourage connections within the lacrosse family.
Qualifications:

At least two years of significant Varsity and/or college lacrosse experience required.

Preferred if you have prior youth coaching experience in lacrosse.

Strong knowledge of lacrosse fundamentals, strategies, and rules.

Exceptional communication and leadership skills.

A genuine passion for youth development and a deep love for the game of lacrosse.

USA Lacrosse Coaching Certification (we will pay for your certification!)

Background check may be required.

Reliable transportation required.

Preferred if you are First Aid and/or CPR certified.
