Are you a local college student studying communications or marketing, looking for real, hands-on experience? Playmakers Lacrosse is looking for a Social Media Intern to help shape and grow our presence — not just executing someone else's plan, but helping build the strategy from the ground up.

Job Title: Social Media Intern

Location: Vadnais Heights, MN — on-site for content capture (evenings and/or weekends), flexible for planning/posting

Job Type: Part-Time / Internship, up to 10 hours/week

Pay: Paid, hourly

Key Responsibilities

• Strategy — Help build a social media strategy and content calendar.

• Content creation — Capture photos and video during sessions, camps, and events.

• Execution — Plan, schedule, and post content across platforms.

• Community engagement — Respond to comments and messages.

• Track what's working — Adjust strategy based on performance.

 

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field — local college students preferred

• Comfortable with Instagram and other social platforms, as both creator and strategist

• Strong writing and visual storytelling instincts

• A self-starter who proposes ideas and runs with them

• Reliable transportation to attend sessions and events for content capture
